Parkwood and Forbes Beach
Great locations for lots of fun!
Parkwood Beach has lots of room on the sand for your beach chairs, great views, a fenced area for swimming and a float for kids to swim to and relax on. Easy to get to, with a bike rack, parking - and private for Parkwood Beach residents.
PBA also maintains the sand on Parkwood and Forbes Beach.
Parkwood playground
Perfect for families with kids!
The playground has lots of fun things to do. PBA paid for a major upgrade to all of the new playground equipment, shown in the photo to the right.
Volunteers continue to fundraise to complete construction of this nice playground.
Parkwood Beach CLubhouse
A great resource - rebuilt!
When you walk into the Parkwood Beach clubhouse you might think, "This looks rough, like a camp house from the 1930s." You're right! It was rebuilt in 1939 by volunteers who used wreckage from the original clubhouse - destroyed by the huge hurricane of 1938!
Today, volunteers maintain and upgrade the Clubhouse.
Parkwood Beach ball field
Play ball!
The Ball Field is available to Parkwood Beach residents for your softball games, frisbee, area tournaments and our annual Field Day. This is
great resource for kids and families.
Tennis / pickleball court
Practice your ace!
Parkwood Beach even has a nice tennis / pickleball court where you can practice your ace, Ernie and backhand - and just have fun with your partner and friends.
